Vaillant UK has conducted a representative survey among German property owners and found: 9 out of 10 heat pump users are satisfied or very satisfied with their system. Over 80 percent of owners would recommend their system – both for new buildings and renovated existing buildings.

The figures indicate a shift in sentiment in the heating market. While switching to heat pump technology was accompanied by skeptics just a few years ago, practical acceptance is growing significantly. For installers and specialist tradespeople, this means stable demand and positive customer references in their network.

However, planners and decision-makers should examine the framework conditions on a case-by-case basis – location, building condition, energy efficiency class, and local support programs significantly influence actual cost-effectiveness. Customer satisfaction alone cannot replace individual cost-benefit analysis.
